My incessant ramblings...enjoy or hate it..doesn't really matter much to me :P
So a pregnant woman (namely me) can go thru a large bottle of Tums in less than a week. This is quite sad but seriously you could make mad bank off the poor design of the human female body. I mean shouldn't whoever or whatever created us have made a slightly larger cavity for a baby to grow so your stomache isn't pushed up into your lungs. It just isn't right.
k so I've had this issue about how it seems that everyone is writing articles bout how dangerous it is to do everyday things when pregnant, and at first I was all kinds of freaked out. Then I thought to myself...dude pple have been havin babies and since the 1950's on there haven't been too many problems and they knew nothing of these "dangers" we are all so aware of now. I mean back when I was born they didn't know half of these problems and we all turned out just fine...it's not like in the 1980's there was a high stillbirth and infant mortality rate..at least not more so than now, and they said it was ok to have a glass of wine a day back then. Also when you actually bring up these dangers w/your doctor they tend to explain them better and essentially tell you that it's not really dangerous at all but to be careful of certain warning signs. I for one am sick of everyone trying to scare the crap out of us about everything it's not like we aren't already freakin out about various things whilst we're pregnant...they don't need to ad more. Anyways I found this article on msn.com that talks about how retarded the media is about how dangerous everything is and it made me feel better...coz it seems like everyone is just buying into all these things whole heartedly.

so I went for my ultrasound on friday and it was the best thing ever. I mean serious euphoria came off of that. I was a bit concerned that our baby might not be completely healthy and stuff coz I'm anxiety ridden...but we got to see that he is totally healthy and squirmy and there. It was so amazing, and I couldn't stop smiling for like a few days afterwards. Plus I still get all giddy when I think about it. I can not wait to meet him. Yes we wanted to know the sex of the baby and it's a boy. Little Ivan Frances. wee!
